Looks like upcoming film, Fire and Ice, may have been re-named; it’s good news though since there’s a better chance of more people being able to see it. I still haven’t been able to see A Near Death Experience for example.

Voltage Pictures has acquired worldwide rights to the upcoming fantasy-adventure “Fire and Ice: The Dragon Chronicles,” which is in post-production. Directed by Pitof (”Catwoman”), the dragon sorcery pic stars Amy Acker (”Angel,” “Alias”) as a princess who faces off against a dragon; Tom Wisdom (”300″) is her knight in shining armor. Also starring is Arnold Vosloo of “Mummy” fame.

Mediapro Pictures (”An American Haunting”) produced the film at their studios in Romania. Voltage is showing early film footage to buyers in Cannes.

I am considering installing a forum for Amy fans to discuss Amy’s career and keep everyone up-to-date on the latest news and images, especially if I am unable to update the site straight away. In my opinion, it would be a great way for Amy fans to get to know each other, and to discuss our favourite actress! As far as I am aware, there is currently no forum in place, so I would like to ask this question –

If I install a forum, would you join up and keep it an active place? Feel free to leave your answer in the comments section.

If the majority of you would like a forum, then I would need several moderators to keep everything running smoothly, as I wouldn’t be able to oversee the forum by myself, although I would be popping in from time to time! If you are interested in being a moderator, be sure to mention that when leaving a comment. Previous experience is preferred. Thanks in advance!

Question: Can you talk about Amy Acker’s character?

Whedon: Amy plays Dr. Claire Saunders. She works in the Dollhouse and she’s a very moral force and she’s very, very, very broken. She’s scarred. Something happened – she’s literally scarred. Something happened at the dollhouse awhile back and she was scarred and she just sort of lives there and her whole mission in life is to take care of them. Topher, the programmer, he programs them and has a very amoral kind of point of view, and she’s sort of his counterpoint.
